Met up with aliaa, yaya, murni, alya, rhaiz and shamir after work at rasta. Well, not a brilliant combination I might add. I noticed that I left my phone at home earlier this morning as soon as I reached the office. And, I'm surprised realizing the fact that I'm still sane and alive after 12 hours or more without the phone. But, I guess Levonia, the operator, must had enough headache transfering the calls to me.
Things are becoming more complicated and weird now, and I feel uncomfortable with certain things especially with you.

I really need someone to help me with this damn bank recon thingy. Wtf man? I sucked at this in school and they expect me to complete it on my own? I'm not asking for full supervision ke apa. Just tell me where to get the data from lah, is that too much to ask?

Foxglove Beardtongue
Just got back from work and realized I've abandoned this blog long enough. Had fun at work just now. Well maybe fun is just a little bit too much. The bosses are away so literally, we had the office to ourselves. Every one was laughing and making jokes. Some were discussing issues they have with the bosses.
This is my second week of work, and I'm still trying my best to adapt to the working environment and mingle with the colleagues. Some of them are still cold but most of them are nice. I still miss my girls tho :(
Gonna meet up with yaya and aliaa tomorrow after work to help them with their EOP project. Oh, and I'm gonna be seeing my boss around starting tomorrow. Luckily I've enjoyed our honeymoon period these past two days, or maybe not. Whatever lah I dont give a crap. Tomorrow's FRIDAY babyyyy!

London visitors, Beware!
I just came across this hillariousss clip.

survived 5 days at work, in one piece. well that's a good news for now.
second day of work and I had to stay back since it's a sin to go home at 5.45pm, well at least thats how it works in my department.
iezzat picked me up from work last friday and we had dinner at nandos. I think I haven't seen him since last year and it was good to have a long chat about things. Oh, and thanks for the treat :)
The most random thing I've done so far this year, definitely.
had lunch with haniza and her family this afternoon at bbq chicken in jaya one. since haniza and I were not in the mood to have chicken for lunch, we had fish and fries instead, from the kids' menu.
I still have less than 2 days of holiday. after this, back to work. so sad lah. I mean I should be enthusiastic about working and all but i really dont. maybe I'll be better in one month time.
oh, Happy Moo Moo Year everyone!

the transition to a whole different world
1st day of work.
blardy tired as hell, for sure.
dad volunteered to send me to work this morning. the traffic was craaaazyyy! we reached uptown at almost 8.30am. Waited until 9.30am for the dude who's gonna conduct the orientation. done with the orientation at 12pm and he introduced me to ALL of the staffs of McDonalds.
Kuah, the head of the AP division gave me some briefing on my job designation.
Generally, my job scope is focused on 9 things namely; claims, petty cash, store petty cash, sales, cash audit (where I get to travel to almost all of the stores worldwide to perform the cash audit), bank guarantee, bank reconciliation, profit & loss reconciliation, and provision journal. lot of stuff eh?
They didn't give me any work today, and I was bored so I cleaned my place until it's squeaky clean. Most of them gave me a warm welcome except for a few people but I deal with them later. So, basically that's all. I swear I'm ALMOST dead right now. Shall get some rest.

As promised, I have uploaded pictures from suraya's 23rd birthday dinner. We had it at Michelangelo's Ristorante in Mont Kiara last sunday. Well, I felt a bit out of place since I don't really know most of the people who came for the dinner. Thank god, alya and boe were there to keep me entertained. heeee.
I look ugly in ALL of the pics, so pardon me for that. Suraya looked stunning that night and I like the dress she wore. Haniza was sick so she couldn't come that night (sigh). My 'idol' was there also and it might sound freaky but I was staring at her most of the time ;p
Alya, boe and I shared a whole pizza (mcsavers).
Well, supposedly the plan was we had to go to aliaa's house to surprise suraya and do a lil bit of cake-cutting ceremony after the dinner. Murni had even bought a whole cake dah pun. But since most of the people who supposed to come for the surprise thingy made other plans last minute, we had to cancel the suprise thingy.
Anyway, hope that suraya had a great birthday celebration that night.

my dad woke me up this morning and he said there's a phone call for me.
so went to answer it, and to my blardy friggin surprise:
It's MCDONALDSS!!
The HR person told me that they've decided to select me to fill-in the position.
In other words, I'm HIREDDD!!
Gonna start next Monday as the Accounts Executive. I'm soooo happyyy!

I still am jobless and getting pretty irritated, not forgetting super uber bored, Staying at home doing nothing besides taking care of the baby. Someone even suggested that I should open up a nursery considering that I am now a pro in "raising" a child (not funny). Oh god, that's exactly how i feel! I feel like I'm raising my own child and this is NOT something that a 21-year old should feel like.
Dad was telling me earlier that I'm gonna be busy with my kids in 4 years time. And I was like, sure thing pa, I'm currently having the time of my life devoting myself "raising" my baby sister and surely excited as hell with the idea of having my own kids in the near future. And he was like, I'm sure you're gonna be the last one to get married after your other siblings.

Well, at least Haniza scored a job. Starting this thursday in Asian Finance Bank and it's not gonna be too long before she has to move to Qatar, maybe marry a wealthy oil tycoon and have four babies. HAHAHAHA. I am soooooo kidding sayang! Okay, maybe it's not funny. But I'm so happy for you and am sure that you're gonna do great working in AFB. Good luck on your first day k!

I've decided to limit my blog's visibility. It seems that I have so many stalkers and I am so surprised. I dont mind if you want to read my blog or whatever but I dont appreciate rude comments about whatever I'm doing, my family and friends, or if I'm wearing tudung or not. Ughh, now I sound like a pathetic high school kid. I think I'm old enough to make my own decisions and deal with the consequences later. Not being arrogant here, and I appreciate some of the comments thank you.

finally, I found myself some time to update my blog. last week, went to celebrate boe's VERY belated birthday at las carretas in damansara heights. the place was pretty and thanks to boe for the research made, i enjoyed my food and the price was reasonable.
went to aliaa's house to pick them up before heading there. haniza and hazman came later, obviously. I wasn't feeling well at that time, so I was quite "slow" and blur while the others continued catching up what they've been missing out so far. and the staff played a birthday 'ala mexicana' song for boe. it was a wonderful evening with wonderful company with yummy food. snapped some pics and then we went to rasta for some snacks.

It's nearly 2 in the morning and I have a job interview in more or less 8 hours from now.
Alhamdulillah, I've recovered from whatever I've suffered from since last week. Did some blood tests and I'm grateful that even though the doctor had confirmed it's positive, the "thing" wasn't at the critical stage. I am happy to say that I'm recovering and getting healthier day by day.
