Hong Kong Trip

Finally I can write something about my "not so recent" random holiday trip to Hong Kong. Went there for 4 days with Shasha, my ex-colleague. We didn't get to go to the tourists attraction places because of our sucky planning and we were too busy shopping during our trip there.

Food was the main problem there. It's so hard to find halal food and we ended up eating McD's Filet for the first two nights. But then, we found this place selling nasi beriyani and roti canai at Time Square's food court. I was so happy to have a decent, complete meal and CHICKEN!

Went to Disneyland, but I didn't enjoy quite much. Was it age factor? I'm not sure but I was thinking of my adik-adik when I was there. It's just not fun going to Disneyland without those brats. PLUS, the place was extra crowded (because we went on Saturday) and it was freaking HOT! Like the sun was hovering 2 meters from your face. Met Amin and his wife there. He was shocked to see us there. Didn't get to take pictures with the Disney's characters, was really disappointed. Spent around RM 1k on Disney's merchandise, most of the stuff are for Baby Lisya.

Hafiz was a total sweetheart! He was there with Aifaa and the rest of McD's people on a company annual trip but he skipped night activities planned by the company to spend time with us and bring us out and stuff like that.

I want to go again and this time, I just want to go to the harbour and other pretty places. Oh and Macau and Shenzhen! Damn it, I can't believe I was there in Hong Kong and didn't go to those pretty places. Boo Hafiz, boooo!

We nearly missed our flight back home and its all because of Shasha. She insisted to look for a souvenir for her ex and we ended up "exploracing" all the way to the departure hall.

All is well. It was a fun trip, yet tiring. Totally going to do this random thing again. Sorry for the lack of pretty scenery pictures. Was too busy shopping and my hands were full of shopping bags I couldn't bother to take out my camera and snap a few pics. But, insyaAllah if I have the chance to go Hong Kong again, I'll make sure to take loads of beeeyutiful pictures :)
